Our publications (ebooks and printable packs)

When you buy a publication from us, we grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own household's private, non-commercial use. You may store it on your own devices and print copies of the worksheets, checklists and action cards for your own household. You may not copy, share, resell, redistribute or publish the publication or any part of it, and you may not use it to provide training or a commercial service to others. This licence sits alongside the copyright notice in the publication itself, and where the two differ, this clause governs the printing and personal use of the worksheets, checklists and action cards.

User Conduct

When using our website, you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or defamatory information

Where a page contains affiliate links or any other paid promotion, we identify it clearly and prominently, before the reader reaches the link, in line with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the CAP Code) and with the requirements on paid editorial content and misleading omissions in Part 4 of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.

We do not accept payment for opinions. Reviews and buying guides reflect our own research and judgement.

Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the website where you breach these terms, where we are required to by law, or where we have another legitimate reason to do so. Where we can, we will tell you why.

Ending your access to the website does not affect a purchase you have already made. Your rights in relation to a publication you have bought, including your rights if it is faulty, misdescribed or not supplied, continue regardless.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change in the law or in what we offer. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page.

Where a change is material, we will tell you by email if you have an account with us or have bought something from us, or by a clear notice on the website. Changes take effect from the date they are posted and do not apply retrospectively to a purchase you have already made. If you keep using the website after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply to your future use.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and proceedings may be brought in the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country in which you live, and nothing in these terms affects your right to bring proceedings in your local courts. Consumers in Scotland and Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their own courts, and consumers resident in the EU may bring proceedings before the courts of their country of residence.

Orders, prices, delivery and payment

Orders. Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order and, for digital products, when the download or access is made available to you. If we cannot accept an order, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid.

Prices and VAT. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. The total price payable, including any delivery charge, is confirmed to you at checkout before you place your order.

Delivery. Digital products are supplied immediately after purchase, once you have agreed to immediate delivery at checkout. If you have not agreed, the download is not released. Paperbacks are printed to order and posted to the delivery address you provide. Estimated production and delivery times are set out on the product page; these are estimates and not guaranteed dates. Unless we agree otherwise with you, goods are delivered within 30 days of the contract being formed.

Payment. Payments are processed by Payhip, whose own terms and privacy notice apply to the payment transaction. We do not receive your full card details. Paperbacks are printed and fulfilled by BookVault, which receives the delivery details needed to send your order.

Faulty or misdescribed items. If what you receive is faulty, misdescribed or not what was promised, you are entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Those rights cannot be excluded and are not affected by anything in these terms.

Cancellations, refunds and your consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel most purchases made online within 14 days. For digital products supplied immediately, that right does not apply where you agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel. Your rights in respect of faulty, misdescribed or undelivered goods and content are not affected by this, and cannot be excluded.
