    We want you to know exactly where you stand, before you buy and after.

    Your 14-day right to cancel

    If you are a consumer in the UK, you have 14 days to cancel most online purchases without giving a reason. This comes from the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you are in the EU, you have the same right under equivalent consumer law.

    • Digital purchases (the ebook and the printable pack): the 14-day period starts when you place your order.
    • The paperback: the 14-day period starts the day you receive it.

    Digital downloads: when the right to cancel does not apply

    When you buy digital content from us, you are asked at checkout to agree to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you will lose your 14-day right to cancel.

    If you agree to that and download the file, the right to cancel no longer applies to that purchase. This is the standard rule for digital content supplied immediately, and it is why we ask you to confirm it rather than it applying automatically.

    You are free to decline. If you do not agree, the download will not be released.

    This does not affect your other rights

    Nothing on this page removes your rights if something is faulty, misdescribed or not what was promised.

    If the ebook will not open, if a file is corrupted, if the paperback arrives damaged, or if what you receive is not what this website described, you are entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Those rights cannot be excluded.

    How to cancel

    The form asks for your name, the email address you used to buy, your order number, which product the cancellation relates to, and where you would like your confirmation sent. You do not have to give a reason.

    What happens next

    • We acknowledge every cancellation by email, including the date and time we received it.
    • We refund within 14 days of the cancellation, using the same payment method you paid with.
    • If your order includes the paperback, we will tell you how to return it. You are responsible for the cost of return postage. Keep proof of posting.
    • If your order was digital only and you cancelled before downloading, the refund is straightforward. If you downloaded after agreeing to immediate delivery, the cancellation right no longer applies, but your rights in respect of faulty content still do.

    Faulty or misdescribed items

    If the problem is with the product rather than a change of mind, say so on the form or in your email. You do not need to use the 14-day cancellation route, and your rights are not limited by any deadline on this page.
